Gymnastics of San Antonio challenges children of all ages with programs that are developmentally appropriate to their skill level. Your child will grow physically, emotionally and socially with every new skill learned! He/she will gain the discipline and confidence needed to embrace a life of endless possibilities!
Our curriculum will instill your child with confidence so that he/she will be willing to try new skills! We will give your student time to work on basic skills so that he/she can build a strong physical and emotional foundation. A strong foundation will allow him/her to more easily learn the intermediate and advanced skills and will help to prevent both physical and emotional injury.
Our facility will be closed this Friday, Saturday and Monday.
Our facility will be closed Friday, September 3rd through Monday, September 6th for the Labor Day weekend. Our staff will attend the Gymnastics Association of Texas convention Friday through Sunday.
Each year we ask our staff to attend the Gymnastics Association of Texas Convention where they attend classes taught by the best in the business. Many classes are taught by national level coaches and highly recognized individuals in the gymnastics community.
Please join us in thanking them for their committment.
Now Enrolling for the Fall!
Trying to decide what sport to enroll your child in this fall?
Gymnastics builds the brain AND the body.
What other sport does that?!
Movement is the architect of a child’s brain. The two hemispheres of the brain are designed to constantly communicate with one another. The left side of the brain controls the right side of the body, and vice versa. Bilateral activities, common to all gymnastics programs, require both sides of the body to work together and separately. Coordinated movement patterns create efficiency in the brain. Efficient pathways create fluent readers who complete reading tasks with ease.
Bouncing on the trampoline, tumbling down a mat, swinging from the bars-all these activities help wire the brain and integrate the vestibular system. Like the hub of a wheel, the vestibular system integrates vision, hearing, balance and skin sensations.
