There’s always something going on at Gymnastics of San Antonio! We are constantly hosting gymnastics classes, makeup lessons, and weekly, monthly, and quarterly events to support the growth and development of our student athletes. Here’s everything that you need to know about our events calendar at our gymnastics gym in San Antonio.
Closures and Make-Up Days
At Gymnastics of San Antonio, we align our class and camp schedules closely with the Northside Independent School District (NISD) school calendar for your convenience. That said, we know that things can come up and prevent students from attending classes. To guarantee that all athletes meet our 48-class minimum requirement, we provide makeup classes that can be arranged by giving us a call.
Makeup classes are available on the third Friday and Saturday of each month, with free options for illness, family emergencies, school events, and specific gym closures. Any other makeup classes can be scheduled for a small fee of $5. Full schedules for our classes and competitive teams can be found in the parent portal.
In accordance with the NISD school calendar, GOSA is closed on the following days in the 2026/2027 school year. Similar closures can be expected each year.
Make-Up Days
You must pre-register for all make-up classes by calling our front office. Make-up day classes will be scheduled no earlier than 7 days prior and no later than 24 hours prior to the desired class time.
Make-up classes will be scheduled in level appropriate classes that are at 50% enrollment or less.
Show Off Days and Coach + Parent Conferences
Our quarterly show off days are not only a chance for your gymnasts to demonstrate their skills, but also a time for you to see your child's progress firsthand. These events are a wonderful way to celebrate your child's achievements and provide encouragement for their continued growth in the sport. We invite all parents of students to come out to the gym floor to watch, take photos, and cheer them on. Please refer to the downloadable calendar for exact dates, but you can generally expect our show-off days to take place in March, June, September, and December.
At our gymnastics gym in San Antonio, we also host coach + parent conferences which provide a personalized opportunity to discuss your child's development with their instructor and set goals for their future success in gymnastics. These quarterly meetings ensure that you are informed and involved in your child's gymnastics journey.
Parent’s Night Out
Need a break from your kids? Let the staff at our gymnastics gym in San Antonio supervise your kids for your next parent’s night out! We'll keep them happy and active, so when you pick them up, they'll be ready for bed. It's a win-win!

Day Camps
Every school year, we host gymnastics camps during school breaks and holidays in the NISD, alongside our hourly classes.
