Gymnastics of San Antonio
Gymnastics of San Antonio (GOSA) has a well-rounded program with a simple yet fulfilling structure for kids. It starts with a pick-up directly from select schools, making it all the more convenient for parents. Once kids arrive at our gym, they get 30 minutes to have a quick snack and break time before heading into hour-long gymnastics classes based on their skill level. With all their excess energy burned off, they focus on homework for the last 30 minutes before parent pickup time at 6 pm.
AIM Learning Center
The AIM Learning Center specializes in educational services. Here, students can receive tutoring from a qualified mentor. They cover a variety of subjects, and the whole time is focused on homework and STEM enrichment. While there is no pick-up option, they do offer virtual sessions that kids can do at home after school.
4-H Club
The structure of 4-H programs allows kids to get hands-on with science, agriculture, healthy living, or civic engagement projects or focus on just one aspect. Bexar County's local chapter offers a Yea 4H! After-School Learning Adventure, with curriculum for grades K-2, grades 3-5, and grades 6-8.
After School Challenge
The Department of Human Services (DHS) operates the After School Challenge Program in conjunction with San Antonio ISD. Kids will receive homework assistance, tutoring, and other school-related help. On top of that, the program has various recreational activities to participate in. Staffing is provided by the district, and at least one teacher helps supervise at every site.
